Salon d'Automne 2025
Salon d'Automne Since 1903

The Muisca Gallery at the 2025 Salon d’Automne
October 28 – November 2, 2025 – Place de la Concorde, Paris
A historic gathering for contemporary art.
Since its founding in 1903, the Salon d’Automne has embodied boldness and creative freedom, privileging disruption and innovation as essential forces in the evolution of art and society. Within this prestigious setting, The Muisca Gallery will present, in 2025, a selection of artists from Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and Portugal.
This exhibition is structured around an interdisciplinary approach in which art enters into dialogue with philosophy, sociology, literature, and humanism. The works brought together explore the notions of memory, figuration, and identity, inviting the viewer on a journey through the intimate and the collective, the ancestral and the contemporary.
A selection of international artists
Cristian Mitrani (Argentina) – A photographic series that questions the masks and fictions of everyday life.
Karen G (Colombia) – Bonga in Time series, a homage to magical realism and Gabriel García Márquez.
María Mercado (Colombia) – Embrace Duality, a poetic and philosophical work that examines the duality of existence.
Fernando Jiménez (Mexico) – Works that reflect on the lies we tell ourselves through the mirror of humankind.
Gabe (Brazil) – Ancestral Renaissance series, documentary photography devoted to the Indigenous peoples of Brazil.
Paulo Brito (Portugal) – Innovative painting on jute canvas, between figurative cubism and chromatic exaltation.
Ivan Jiménez Brunel (Mexico) – Expressive work nourished by multiple artistic influences, between surrealism, Picasso’s modernity, and Chagall’s spirituality.
A tribute and an opening
This presentation does more than honor the historical tradition of the Salon d’Automne, cradle of Fauvism and the avant-gardes of the 20th century. It also asserts the vitality of contemporary Latin American and Portuguese art as a space for questioning, transformation, and dialogue with the world.
