The Muisca Gallery is pleased to present its collaboration with the German gallery DCS Contemporary, based in Karlsruhe, on the occasion of the exhibition The Narrative Lens, which will feature artists represented by The Muisca Gallery. Conceived as a cross-border artistic dialogue, the exhibition brings together singular photographic voices whose works explore memory, identity, and perception through visual narratives of both personal depth and universal resonance.
Within this context, Cristian Mitrani occupies a central place. For more than five decades, his photographic practice has engaged with urban and natural landscapes, sacred sites, and spaces shaped by human presence and experience. Frequently employing multiple exposure, he constructs luminous and dynamic compositions in which memory, movement, and perception intersect. His work unfolds as a layered meditation on the world, inviting viewers into images that are at once contemplative, vibrant, and deeply evocative. In parallel with his artistic career, part of his work has contributed to supporting NGOs active in education, healthcare, and food security.
Through this exhibition, The Muisca Gallery underscores the enduring power of photography as a narrative medium, while bringing particular attention to Cristian Mitrani’s distinctive visual language and his profound exploration of place, time, and human experience.
