Figurations flottantes

The Muisca Gallery, PARIS, FRANCE

Figurations Flottantes explores the subtle balance between the figurative and the abstract, where forms emerge and dissolve, blurring the boundaries of perception and opening the way to infinite interpretations.

This exhibition brings together the works of Cristian Mitrani, Fabiana Peña, Zoe Arévalo, Valentina Castro, along with guest artist Clément Thuault. Together, they lead us into a rich and poetic dialogue between concrete and floating forms.

Cristian Mitrani and Clément Thuault, both photographers, infuse their practice with an ethereal dimension. Mitrani captures fleeting moments where figures blend into plays of light and shadow, while Thuault explores a minimalist and delicate aesthetic where contours seem to fade, suspended in time.

Fabiana Peña’s vibrant paintings oscillate between clarity and transformation, presenting human figures in constant metamorphosis.

Zoe Arévalo and Valentina Castro, for their part, push the limits of abstraction: their organic, floating, almost liquid forms transport viewers into dreamlike realms where reality and imagination blend harmoniously.

Presented as part of the prestigious Art Capital 2025, this exhibition invites viewers to explore a universe where figurations float and reinvent themselves. Through plays of texture, color, and innovative techniques, the artists challenge perception and redefine the boundaries between the tangible and the intangible.

A celebration of ambiguity and mystery that opens up infinite space for the imagination.

Welcome to Figurations Flottantes.
