The Muisca Gallery is honored to participate in the fifth edition of Artexpo New York

The Muisca Gallery is honored to participate in the fifth edition of Artexpo New York, reaffirming its vision of contemporary art rooted in creativity, experimentation, and intercultural dialogue.

For this edition, the gallery presents a selection of international artists — Nard Kwast, María Mercado, Leloluce, Virgilio Patiño, J. Van Rycke, and Cristian Mitrani — whose practices stand out for their narrative strength and their ability to question our relationship to the world and to ourselves. Painting, sculpture, and photography are brought together and set in dialogue within a curatorial journey where the universal engages with the collective and the intimate, offering an experience that is both sensory and intellectual.

The Muisca Gallery goes beyond simple observation, inviting visitors to reflect on the dualities and tensions of our time. The works presented — whether marked by poetic intensity, a remarkable command of seventeenth-century classical techniques, immersive and sensory environments, technical and narrative innovation, or explorations of everyday life — confront the viewer with the complexity of the human condition and the richness of the imaginaries that shape our societies.

This selection highlights the singularity of each artist while constructing a coherent narrative about the vitality and relevance of contemporary international and Latin American art. Art thus becomes a vehicle for inquiry, surprise, and dialogue.

By participating in Artexpo New York 2026, The Muisca Gallery offers a space where rigor, aesthetic excellence, and cultural openness converge to create an immersive and intellectually stimulating experience.
