Art capital 2025

Grand palais, PARIS, FRANCE

Art Capital is a major artistic event that will take place from February 19 to 22, 2025, at the Grand Palais in Paris.

This event brings together four iconic exhibitions: the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon des Artistes Français, the Salon Comparaisons, and the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'Eau.

Together, they offer an exceptional showcase of contemporary creation, bringing together over 2,000 artists from various disciplines.

Among these exhibitions, the Salon Comparaisons stands out for its structure based on thematic groups, each representing a particular artistic sensibility.

The "Latin America" group, led by Maléna Santillana, highlights the richness and diversity of Latin American art.

This year, the Latin America group will feature the following artists representing our gallery:

Cristian Mitrani: An Argentine photographer, Mitrani explores the urban and rural landscapes of his country, capturing moments of life with unique sensitivity.

Zoé Arévalo: A Mexican artist, Arévalo presents works that reflect the culture and traditions of her country, blending contemporary techniques with ancestral motifs.

Valentina Castro: Originally from Mexico, Castro mainly expresses herself through painting, addressing themes related to identity and collective memory.

Fabiana Peña: A Colombian artist, Peña creates naive, contemporary, and figurative art, often depicting scenes of daily life with a poetic touch.

These artists, with their diverse backgrounds, will offer visitors a deep immersion into contemporary Latin American art.

The Salon Comparaisons, and particularly the Latin America group, represents a unique opportunity to discover authentic and thought-provoking works that reflect the cultural dynamics of this region of the world.
